Just Some Fun

This is going to be a weird, nothing in common type of post. These photos are all just fun ones that I've taken lately and happen to like.

These first ones are from a drive Curtis and I took up into the mountains. It was pretty and peaceful up there.

These next two are ones that I took of the Idaho Falls Temple. It was a fun little adventure.

These next ones are some of my favorites from the Fourth of July. It was so fun to experiment with the aperture and shutter speeds for these shots- it created very different and FUN pictures!

My Tiny Twinners

So, all of these posts are old photos. I know, it's stupid- but I really wanted to be able to go back through and see the progress I've made throughout the year. This post is about my babies. In March of 2011, my sister, Sarah, had the two tiniest babies I have ever seen: the twins; Karsyn Gregg and Masen Samuel. These babies, weighing in at just over four pounds each, were beyond adorable. In the past year and half, we watched them grow from these ity-bitteys into two totally different, totally crazy, totally cute toddlers. They're still rather tiny for their age, but trust me, they are full of energy. Masen is everywhere- crawling all over everything and eating all that he can- he is so funny! Karsyn has been walking for a while now and he seems to be more attached to his momma than his brother. I love these babies SO much and I cannot get enough pictures of them. Although, it was a ton easier taking good photos of them when they couldn't get away from me. These pictures are all the way back from March- taken for their first birthday- and it seems like even this was forever ago.

Okay, now I know how it seems, and no, I do not favor Masen. It was simple really. When I took these, Masen was lazier. It was easy to take pictures of him and Karsyn was constantly on the move. There was just more good pictures of Maters, Karsyn's were all blurry and weird.

Sweet Baby Kaydrianna

This was one of my largest, longest shoots. It was my first official newborn shoot that wasn't my sister's boys. It was a blast! Kaydri was so sweet and tiny, all I wanted to do was hold her, but eventually we got to work. It was fun- I brought a ton of stuff with me, too! One of the best parts was when she peed all down her dad's arm and all over her mom, too. With a lot of these photos that I'm posting, I went for a more dramatic lighting situation. There is a lot of extremely dark shadows and bright highlights. There is a lot of black and white or mostly colorless. And there is a ton of contrast. I did most of the photos in the calm, neutral, baby-style that usually goes along with a newborn shoot, but I also wanted some different ones. Anyway, sorry that this is such a HUGE post, but I just had so many that I loved.
